After being teased earlier this month, the realme 13 Pro series have finally made their debut over in India. Photography is the main focus of the series with both launching with HyperImage+ AI photography that combines hardware and AI for improved imaging capabilities.
Aside from improvements in hardware, HyperImage+ AI is made possible by using on-device AI algorithm and cloud-based AI image editing techniques that enables it to use Smart Removal, Group Photo Enhancement, and Audio Zoom.
The realme 13 Pro+ 5G gets the top spot of the range thanks to its upgraded 50MP f/1.88 Sony LYT main camera with OIS and 50MP f/2.56 Sony LYT-600 Periscope Telephoto camera. On the other hand, the realme 13 Pro 5G gets the Sony LYT-600 sensor on its main camera. Both models will come with the same 8MP f/2.2 ultrawide camera at the back and a 32MP f/2.45 front-facing camera.
The two do share the same hardware otherwise. Both sport the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset partnered with up to 12GB RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage. We also get a 6.7-inch 2412 x 1080 120Hz OLED display with Gorilla Glass 7i, Super Linear Speakers, and a 5,200mAh battery. Charging, however, is different as the Pro+ model gets the faster 80W SuperVOOC charging while the base Pro variant comes with 45W SuperVOOC charging.
Their designs were made in collaboration with the world-renowned museum MFA, specifically from the works of impressionist painter Claude Monet’s work outside of France. The flagship color is Monet Gold that mimics millions of shimmering particles that come together to simulate the painter’s brushstrokes.
