The realme 15 Pro Series 5G are set to launch in the Philippines on September 16, 2025. Leading the lineup is the realme 15 Pro 5G – a midrange darling that’s set to upgrade the series. What hardware and features can we expect from the device once it lands in the Philippines?

Massive Battery and Decent Chipset

The realme 15 Pro 5G will come with an absolutely colossal 7,000mAh battery – one of the largest in its price range and is also a 1,000mAh upgrade from its predecessor. The brand claims that a whole day will only use about half of its power.

Though you might expect a long charging time for a large battery, realme is giving the 15 Pro support for 80W Ultra Charge. This significantly cuts down wait time from 0% to 50% in just 25 minutes.

We have used the device throughout for our soon-to-be-published review, and we can say that the device lasts a surprisingly long time. We have never had to worry about losing power in the middle of the day.

Under-the-hood of the realme 15 Pro 5G is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage. We’ve yet to run any benchmarks, but the device feels smooth in daily use.

Framerates on games like Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail feel smooth and steady, but we’ll be running capturing frame data on our full review to see what kind of FPS we are getting.

Stylish with a Fast and Beautiful Display

realme has been known to offer both minimalist and stylish devices under their mainline numbered series, and that doesn’t change with the 15 Pro. They will be offering three colorways: Silk Purple, Velvet Green, and Flowing Silver. The first 2 are clean-looking models, but the Flowing Silver version (the one we have on review) is definitely going to attract a few eyeballs with its pearl-like design.

Its rear comes with a glass finish that surprisingly doesn’t show fingerprint. It’s thin as well measuring at only 7.79mm, which is impressive for a device with such a large battery. The chassis also comes with an IP69 rating for dust and water resistance to make it more resistant dust intrusion, high temperature, and high-pressure water jets.

At the front of the smartphone is a 6.8-inch 2800 x 1280 OLED display running at 144Hz. OLED displays are able to provide great contrast and color reproduction, and that’s true for the realme 15 Pro 5G as well. It is curved at the edges, which some of you may not like, but the bezels are almost non-existent.

Its fast refresh rate makes general navigation and games feel smooth. This is also an advantage for games that support it as it allows you to react faster to the action on screen.

Triple 50MP Cameras Backed by AI

The stars of the show are the 15 Pro’s triple 50MP cameras: a 50MP f/1.8 main shooter with OIS powered by a Sony IMX896 sensor, a 50MP f/2.0 ultrawide, and a 50MP f/2.4 selfie lens. realme is also equipping the device with dual LED flash at the back with neutral and warm options to balance out lighting when shooting in dark scenarios.

All of its 50MP cameras can take 4K60fps video, which lets you enjoy high-resolution playback regardless of the lens that you use.

What’s a new smartphone without any kind of AI features in 2025, which is why the realme 15 Pro 5G rolls out with several AI-powered camera modes such as AI Party Mode to enhance photos while you’re out in the night and AI Landscape to ensure landscape photos come out clean and vibrant.

There’s also AI Edit Genie that allows you to edit photos using voice controls. There are multitudes of options for editing such as erasing, enhancing, and cropping. You have unlimited edits for the first month, but you’ll be limited to 20 edits/voice commands per day after.

Though the realme 15 Pro 5G launches just a few months after its predecessor, there are a lot of upgrades. Instead of a monochrome sensor, realme is giving the 15 Pro another usable camera in the form of a 50MP f/2.4 ultrawide shooter. It’s front-facing camera has been upgraded as well to 50MP f/2.4 front the 14 Pro 5G’s 16MP f/2.4.

Battery charging and capacity are also one of the biggest changes this generation. Bigger battery and faster charging speeds are especially helpful for heavy smartphone users that need minimal downtime.

We’ve only had a short time with the realme 15 Pro 5G, but we’re already finding a lot of things that we like. A full breakdown of the device’s features and performance will be available once our review is up on its launch.
