Realme is adding yet another budget smartphone under their belts. Essentially a more affordable version of the Realme 5, the Realme 5i keeps everything we loved about its predecessor while attaining an overall lower price.
The Realme 5i packs almost the same specifications as its predecessor. It still comes with a 6.5-inch LTS IPS display with a resolution of 1600 x 720 although the notch has been made smaller to house an 8MP f/2.0 front-facing camera.
The quad camera setup makes a comeback on the 5i. At the rear are the smartphone’s 12MP f/1.8 Main, 8MP f/2.25 Ultrawide, 2MP f/2.4 Macro, and a 2MP f/2.4 Portrait camera.
The 5i also runs on the same chip as the Realme 5, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 655. Variants in the Philippines will receive 3GB of RAM with 64GB of internal storage that can be expanded via its dedicated MicroSD slot.
The smartphone gets its juice from a 5,000mAh battery charged via a MicroUSB connection at the bottom. At launch, the device will be shipping out with Android 9.0 Pie with ColorOS 6.0.

The Realme 5i will officially be in stores starting February 1, 2020 for PhP 6,990 and will have Forest Green and Aqua Blue color versions. Realme will be holding a Flash Sale on January 30 and February 1, 2020 for the smartphone although the Flash Price is yet to be determined.
