After going through GeekBench, the Realme 5i has been officially unveiled. Basically a cheaper version of the Realme 5, the Realme 5i largely shares the same specifications as its bigger brother.
The Realme 5i’s repertoire of cameras is composed of a 12MP f/1.8 main camera, an 8MP ultrawide angle secondary, a 2MP macro lens with a 4cm focusing distance, and a 2MP depth sensor. The main camera can shoot 4K30fps videos or 720p videos at 120fps.
The display remains largely the same with a 6.5-inch LTPS IPS display with a 1600 x 720 resolution and can produce brightness of up to 480nits. It does have a notch to house the 8MP selfie camera.
Inside the chassis is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 chip. There will be two variants one with a 3GB/32GB configuration and another with a more impressive 4GB/64GB RAM and internal storage combination.
The smartphone gets its juice from a 5,000mAh battery charged via a 10W MicroUSB port at the bottom. The rather large battery capacity can also reverse charge other devices so long as you have the cable for it.
