Although delayed by the COVID-19 pandemic, the Realme 6i has officially arrived in the Philippines. Packing a Helio G80 chip, quad cameras, and faster charging, it is a direct upgrade from the Realme 5i from a couple of months ago.

The Realme 6i comes with a 6.5-inch LTPS IPS Dewdrop 1600 x 720 display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. A tiny notch is placed near the top of the smartphone to house its 16MP f/2.0 front-facing camera.

Its rear has been designed by Naoto Fukasawa, which is also the mastermind behind the design of the Realme X series Master Edition smartphones. This new design, which comes in White Milk and Green Tea, shows a new matte visual effect with a comfortable finish.

The aesthetics of the Realme 6i’s back is broken by a quad camera setup composed of a 48MP f/1.8 main shooter, an 8MP f/2.25 ultrawide, a 2MP f/2.4 macro, and a 2MP f/2.4 portrait. Just beside the camera bump is a traditional fingerprint scanner.

Like most of Realme’s budget smartphones, it comes with a large 5,000mAh battery to last you until the end of the day. Charging, however, has been improved over its predecessor with the 6i now sporting 18W Fast Charging.
