After launch of the 7 series back in September in the Philippines, realme is coming back to upgrade the realme 7 with a 5G variant thanks to MediaTek’s Dimensity 800U chip.
Aside from the move from the Helio G95 to the Dimenity 800U, the realme 7 5G has received a couple of additional upgrades. Instead of a 90Hz display, it now has a faster 6.5-inch 2400 x 1080 IPS screen running at 120Hz. Depending on the variant, you may also get either 6GB or 8GB of RAM.
At the back is a quad camera arrangement composed of a 48MP f/1.8 main camera, an 8MP f/2.2 ultrawide, a 2MP f/2.4 portrait camera, and a 2MP f/2.4 macro lens. Its selfie camera at the front is a 16MP f/2.1 shooter.
The realme 7 5G runs with Android 10 with realme UI and gets its power from a 5,000mAh battery reserve. The 30W Dart Charge capabilities of the original model does get carried over to the 5G version.
