Both the realme 8 and 8 Pro has officially arrived in the Philippines. The latest iteration of realme’s mainline numbered series come with several enhancements like a new design and in the case of the latter, an upgrade to a 108MP f/1.9 main lens.
The realme 8 Pro comes with a 6.4-inch 2400 x 1080 SuperAMOLED display with a punch-hole for its 16MP f/2.45 front-facing camera. At the back are its 108MP f/1.9 main, 8MP f/2.25 ultrawide, 2MP f/2.4 macro, and 2MP f/2.4 mono lenses.
It its powered by a 4,500mAh battery that supports the brand’s 50W SuperDart charge. It comes with Android 11 with realme UI 2.0 as well as an in-display fingerprint scanner, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G, 8GB of RAM, and 128GB of internal storage.

On the other hand, the realme 8 sports a more modest feature set but still comes with a 6.4-inch 2400 x 1080 SuperAMOLED display with an 16MP f/2.45 front camera. Its quad camera setup at the back is composed of a 64MP f/1.9 main les, an 8MP f/2.25 ultrawide, and two 2MP f/2.4 shooters for macro and mono.
Inside its chassis is a MediaTek Helio G95 with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Of course it shares the same OS and realme 2.0 UI as the 8 Pro and even the 4,500mAh battery capacity. Charging, however, has been slightly slowed down to support realme’s 30W Dart Charge.

The realme 8 and 8 Pro will come in 8GB/128GB configurations in the Philippines and is priced as follows:
Both will be available later via Lazada starting May 12, 2021 at 12:00am midnight. Those who will get it within the day will get a PhP 1,000 voucher which brings the realme 8 and 8 Pro’s price to only PhP 12,990 and PhP 15,990, respectively.
