After a bit of teasing, Realme’s latest budget offering has been officially launched in the Philippines. As the third of the brand’s C-series, the Realme C3 still positions itself in the entry-level market to provide the best value as possible to its users.

The Realme C3 comes with a 6.5-inch 1560 x 720 display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Its display is still notched in order to house its 5MP f/2.4 front-facing camera that also enables Face Unlock.

In terms of design, the C3 deviates from its predecessors by using Realme’s Sunrise Design instead of a glossy finish. The design of the smartphone’s rear is only broken by a triple camera setup headlined by a 12MP f/1.8 Main, 2MP f/2.4 Depth Sensor, and a 2MP Macro Lens. Just beside the camera is a fingerprint scanner for additional security measures.

One of the biggest upgrades of the Realme C3 is its chipset. The device now comes with a more powerful MediaTek Helio G70 that surpasses the Qualcomm Snapdragon 665. The chip’s performance is helped by 3GB of RAM and an expandable 32GB internal storage.

The Realme C3 is also the first smartphone to automatically ship with the Realme UI. It gets its juice from a traditionally large 5,000mAh battery charged via 10W Battery Charging courtesy of its MicroUSB connection.
