The realme C55 has officially arrived in the Philippines. It is the first smartphone from the brand to come with a Dynamic Island-like Mini Capsule feature. It will be able to display battery alerts, charging status, and data consumption with more features rolling out in the future.
Aside from its Mini Capsule, the C55 is a fairly solid entry-level smartphone on paper. It packs a MediaTek Helio G88 chip with up to 8GB RAM and up to 256GB internal storage, a 6.72-inch FullHD+ 90Hz IPS screen, and Android 13 with realme UI 4.0.
The imaging system is simple with a 64MP main camera and a 2MP depth sensor at the back as well as an 8MP front-facing shooter. Battery is kept standard at 5,000mAh but charging speeds is boosted thanks to its support for 33W SuperVOOC charging.

The realme C55 is priced starting at PhP 8,999 in the Philippines. Two variants are available: 6GB/128GB for PhP 8,999 and 8GB/256GB for PhP 10,999.
