realme is bringing in another C series budget smartphone into the Philippines – the realme C61. At under PhP 8,000, it promises a “Quality Champion Experience” with its 90Hz display and big battery.
The realme C61 packs in a 6.74-inch HD+ 90Hz display and a Unisoc T612 chip on its 7.84mm frame. It also comes with a 5,000mAh battery with 15W Quick Charge, which is pretty standard for entry-level smartphones.
Complementing its chipset is up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. You can expand both of these via Dynamic RAM Expansion and its microSD slot, respectively.
Those who are constantly outside, the C61 comes with a few touchless and AI interactions to make things seamless. These include Air Gestures, AI Noise Reduction, AI Boost, Dynamic Button, Mini Capsule 2.0, Riding Mode, and Rainwater Smart Touch.
As for the camera department, realme keeps it simple with a single 50MP f/1.8 main camera at the back and a 5MP f/2.2 selfie shooter at the front.

The realme C61 starts at PhP 6,999 in the Philippines. Two variants are being offered: 6GB/128GB for PhP 6,999 and 8GB/256GB for PhP 7,999. It will be available in the country via realme’s official Shopee and TikTok stores, as well as authorized retailers nationwide.
Early birds who will get the 8GB/256GB version until September 30, 2024 will get a free 2-year realme Care. realme’s TikTok Shop is slashing the price of the 8GB/256GB model to only PhP 6,299 until August 18 and will come with a free TEchLife Power Bank S101 10,000mAh worth PhP 799 while stocks last.
Over at the realme Shopee Flagship store, getting the 8GB/256GB variant from August 19 – 25, 2024 will net you discounts via vouchers and you can get the device for as low as PhP 6,2999 with a free TechLife Power Bank S101 Power Bank.
To welcome its arrival in the Philippine market, realme will be holding a “New Product Budol” on August 19, 2024 at 9:00pm. A limited number of realme C61 6GB/128GB will be sold for only PhP 2,988.
