The realme Note 50 has been officially unveiled in the Philippines – ahead of the international launch of the rest of the brand’s Note series. The Note 50 is being positioned as an entry-level device with its specifications and design pointing to a slightly cut-down version of the realme C51.
Like the C51, the Note 50 is based on the Unisoc T612 platform with 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage, and a 6.74-inch 1600 x 720 90Hz IPS display. The handset is still powered by a 5,000mAh battery but charging speeds is now limited to 10W through its USB-C port.
realme manages to squeeze the device into a 7.9mm frame. It comes equipped with a 13MP main camera with a black and white sensor plus a 5MP selfie camera at the back.
The smartphone will also come with WiFi 5, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and is rated at IP54 for dust and water resistance. It will run on Android 13 with realme UI T Edition, which is a slightly cut down version of the realme UI to maximize performance in lower-end devices.
