The realme Pad 2 is making its way into the Philippine market. It is a direct upgrade from the realme Pad from 2 years ago and an affordable alternative to the Pad X. The tablet has a couple of upgrades from its predecessor including a bump in chipset with its MediaTek Helio G99 that can be configured with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
Its screen is slightly larger at 11.5-inches and the refresh rate is doubled at 120Hz. Resolution, however, is retained at 2000 x 1200. The brand is still outfitting it with quad speakers with two microphones but is now using Dual-Mic Noise Cancellation like the Pad X.
The battery has a larger capacity at 8,360mAh and charges faster supporting 33W SuperVOOC instead of 7,100mAh and 18W from last generation, respectively. At the back is an 8MP f/2.0 camera while the reverse side houses a 5MP f/2.2 front-facing shooter.
