Market research firms Canalys, IDC, and Counterpoint research have named realme as the number 1 smartphone brand in the Philippines in the third quarter of 2020. This milestone was reached by realme after only two years of being in the Philippine market.

Global market intelligence firm IDC reported that realme Philippines has achieved 962.5% annual growth and captured 25.4% local market share in the third quarter of 2020. This data is further strengthened by Canalys which observed in early November a 25% market share and 532% year-on-year growth for the brand.

Trailing behind realme are long standing brands such as vivo with a 14.3% market share and an annual growth of 66.7%, OPPO at 13.0% with a -36.6% annual growth, Huawei at 11.1% with a 38.9% annual growth, and Samsung at 10.1% and an annual growth of -19.5%.

Within its two year in the Philippines, realme has quite aggressively released smartphones back to back with their lineup now composed of their premiere X-series, their mainline numbered series, as well as budget devices like the narzo and C-series lineup. They have also been doubling down on their AIoT devices like TWS earphones and smart accessories.
