realme continues to reign at the top spot in the Philippines as it reaches 1st place for six consecutive quarters according to International Data Corporation (IDC) with a total of 21.8% market share. Canalys’ sell-in report last month supports this with the brand having a total unit share of 20% across all vendors despite a -21% annual growth and a global decline in smartphone shipments this year.

The brand recently concluded its realme FanFest 2022 – a month long campaign rallying Filipino youth to embrace their selves and pursue their passions. It included its affinity to today’s digital landscape: sports, content creation, entertainment, and entrepreneurship.

The festivities concluded with a free concert featuring local talents and pop groups like 6ense, Top Class Five, The Juans, Zack Tabudlo, and VXON last August 26 at SM Megamall.

Austin Huang, realme VP for Marketing, says that the realme 9i, realme C11 2021, and realme C35 have been the local fan favorites for the first half of 2022.

In celebration of its success, the realme 9 6GB/128GB will be discounted by PhP 1,000 starting this month. This brings down its price from PhP 14,999 to only PhP 13,999.

The brand will also be opening its Zalora store soon that will feature their smartphones and range of Tech Life and AIoT devices like tablets, laptops, audio, wearables, and even home appliances.
