realme is one of the brands the started with a clear target audience in the beginning. From their first slogan of “Proud to Be Young” when they started back in 2018, then transitioned to a more wider and relatable slogan of “Dare to Leap” in 2019.

The brand made great strides in the Philippine market particularly with strong affinity to the youth’s passion point like eSports,  creativity like photography, music, and even fashion.

realme make it realNow come 2024 into the 6th year of realme in the world, the brand once again changes its brand slogan to “Make it real.” indicating a more “now or never” language.

The pandemic indeed changes our behavior that we want things to be more in the moment and indeed real. We don’t wait for things to experience, we do it with a sense of ownership and dedication to get what we desire. With this new brand slogan, I believe realme is expanding its target audience to more than the youth in general, but also targeting aspiring consumers who wants to experience “real”.

It’s a nice hook honestly, but let’s see how this goes after some campaigns are executed.
