realme is starting off 2021 with a bang with the release of the realme V15 5G. Positioned as a midrange smartphone like most of their devices, the V15 5G packs a decent set of specifications including a Dimensity 800U chip and a 6.4-inch FullHD+ AMOLED display.
In terms of imaging, the device gets a triple camera setup at the back composed of a 64MP f/1.8 main camera, an 8MP f/2.3 ultrawide, and a 2MP f/2.4 macro. Meanwhile, the front remains relatively tame with only a single 16MP f/2.5 selfie shooter. realme is including photo features like Movie Mode, Super Night Mode, and UIS Max video.
The realme V15 5G will receive up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.1 storage. It has a 4,310mAh battery with 50W Fast Charging. It doesn’t have a 3.5mm jack so the brand is including a USB Type-C to 3.5mm adapter with the usual arrangement of extras.
Prices will start at CNY 1,499 (USD 230, PhP 11,000) for the realme V15 5G’s 6GB/128GB version while its 8GB/128GB model is priced at (USD 300, PhP 15,000). Three variants are available: Koi, Mirror Lake Blue, and Crescent Silver. It will hit the market in China starting January 14, 2021.
