Rockstar has posted an official statement on their website that Red Dead Redemption 2’s release date was pushed back to October 26, 2018. Initially slated for release for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in the 1st quarter of 2018, Rockstar is asking more time from its audience for a “little extra time for polish.”

Rockstar is sincerely thanking everyone for their patience and that they are assuring that the delay will have a positive outcome in the game. To hold us for the wait, the studio has released a couple of screenshots for Red Dead Redemption 2.

We guess that a delay is better than a rushed game. Are you excited for Red Dead Redemption 2? Let us know in the comments.
