Redfox Philippines is a long icon of Philippine technology, they are just few of the tech companies that until now stood against all odds and fought against international tech giants.
In the beginning, Redfox is actually a Taiwanese and Filipino part owned company where they competed in desktop PCs. In the early 2000’s you might have remembered or at least known about the “Fab my PC” show of the company with Hero TV, the show was a hit to children who desired in having a PC worthy of graphics intense games.
The soon became a 100% Filipino company with a buyout they did with their Taiwanese counterparts. This eventually transformed the company into to a more serious tone which ventured into laptops, tablets and even accessories. They were able to release good units of ultra-slim laptops, desktop PCs, full pledge laptops and even tablets.
With the radical shift of local brands having less leverage versus international brands and the battle for the perfect “Price” is getting steep…Redfox is in a much needed transformation to keep up with the battle.
Their new logo is a combination of Heart and Diamond which represents “Luxury Within Reach”. In our perspective, the company has a fighting chance to pull off this image given that their new devices won’t be late for release.
The company is soon to release a new range of ultra-thin laptops, gaming laptops, all-in-one PCs, Desktop PCs and even compute sticks. Other devices worth mentioning are the audio accessories such as bluetooth headphones, sound bar speakers and even
Perhaps interestingly they will also enter the smartphone market with new phones and tablets, their flagship phone is called “Aurea” which we will see soon as per the company said. We are happy with this news to welcome competition and for consumers to have more options in the ever-growing smartphone category.
We will definitely look forward to what Redfox will bring more into the market, as of now there aren’t any details of pricing and availability of their new lineup but as per their CEO it will be perfect for the Christmas season.
