Xiaomi has officially launched their new entry-level offering – the Redmi 12C. The smartphone will come with a 6.71-inch HD+ screen, a MediaTek Helio G85 chipset, a 5,000mAh battery, and dual rear cameras with a 50MP f/1.8 main lens and a 2MP f/2.4 depth sensor.

The Redmi 12C has already hit retail shelves in China with prices starting at CNY 699 (PhP 5,700) for the 4GB/64GB variant. Price for the 4GB/128GB and 6GB/128GB is set at CNY 799 (PhP 6,500) and CNY 899 (PhP 7,300), respectively.
No word yet about a local launch for the smartphone in the Philippines.
