Xiaomi is bringing in the Redmi A1 into the Philippines as an entry-level smartphone offering. It is being priced below the PhP 5,000 point packing a MediaTek Helio A22, an 8MP f/2.0 rear camera, a 5MP f/2.2 selfie camera, and a 5,000mAh battery that supports 10W Wired Charging. It will run on Android 12 Go Edition to run smoothly despite its meagre hardware.

The Redmi A1 is priced at PhP 4,499 in the Philippines. The brand, however, will be offering the device for only PhP 3,999 with a bundled Bluetooth speaker from October 29 to November 13, 2022 as an introductory offer.
The smartphone will be available on Xiaomi Shopee and Lazada flagship stores, Xiaomi concept stores, and authorized retailers nationwide.
