The Redmi A1 comes with a 6.52-inch 1600 x 720 display while the narzo 50i Prime has a 6.5-inch 1600 x 720 IPS screen. Both are based on an IPS panel at sub-FHD+ resolution. One could argue that the A1 has larger screen but at a difference of only 0.02-inches, you would be hard-pressed to see the size difference between the two.
The narzo 50i Prime has a Unisoc T612 versus the Redmi A1’s MediaTek Helio A22. The Tiger 612 is the newer of the two with a release date of May 2022 while the Helio A22 is already 4 years old being introduced back in 2018.
Stock benchmarks like AnTuTu say that he Unisoc T612 is faster than the Redmi A1 with the former scoring around 170,000 and the latter around 88,000. This means that by performance alone, the narzo 50i Prime is faster than Xiaomi’s offering.
As for storage, the two come with 32GB internal storage and support MicroSD expansion. Both come with 3GB RAM offerings but the Redmi A1 has a 2GB variant in some regions.

The narzo 50i Prime and Redmi A1 have an 8MP f/2.0 main lens and the back and a 5MP f/2.2 selfie camera at the front. The A1, however, has a secondary 0.08MP Depth Sensor secondary at the back.
The Redmi A1 is priced at PhP 4,499 in the Philippines while the narzo 50i Prime has a permanently reduced price of PhP 3,999. The former is a few months younger launching in the country on October 25, 2022 while the latter was released back in August 12, 2022.
