Xiaomi is bringing the budget-friendly Redmi A3 in the Philippines. On paper, the smartphone still packs a pretty solid specifications sheet despite being placed well-below the PhP 4,000 mark.
The Redmi A3 packs a 6.71-inch 1650 x 720 90Hz IPS display with a 5MP f/2.2 front-facing camera. At the rear is an 8MP f/2.0 main camera plus a QVGA secondary lens. Inside is a MediaTek Helio G36 with two memory variants: 3GB/64GB and 4GB/128GB.
A 5,000mAh battery runs the device with support for 10W charging. Instead of running an Android Go Edition OS, Xiaomi is outfitting the A3 with a full-fledged Android 14 OS. The device will come with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, Dual-SIM with 4G, and AI Face Unlock.
