Xiaomi has officially launched the Redmi Note 12 series in the Philippines. We will be getting three smartphones: the Note 12 Pro+, Note 12 5G, and Note 12. As with previous entries from the brand, they promise great price-to-performance ratio to its customers.
The Redmi Note 12 Pro+ and Note 12 5G largely have the same specifications including a Dimensity 1080 chipset, a 6.67-inch 2400 x 1080 120Hz OLED screen with HDR10+ and Dolby Vision, an 8MP f/1.9 ultrawide camera, a 16MP front-facing camera, and a 5,000mAh battery.
They differ on charging speeds and main camera. The Note 12 Pro+ has a 200MP f/1.7 main camera and 120W Fast Charging while the vanilla model limits itself to a 50MP f/1.7 primary lens and 67W Fast Charging.
The non-Pro model we are getting locally is the 4G variant. It packs a Snapdragon 685 chipset with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage, a 50MP f/1.8 main lens with an 8MP f/2.2 ultrawide, and a 13MP f/2.45 selfie camera. Battery capacity stays at 5,000mAh battery but only 33W Fast Charging.
