After the Redmi Pad Pro launched in the Philippines earlier this year, the brand is now releasing another tablet now catering for the entry-level market – the Redmi Pad SE 8.7 4G. While most budget-oriented tablets only support WiFi, Redmi’s Pad SE 8.7 4G will support 4G connectivity.
The Redmi Pad SE 8.7 4G will come with a triple-cut SIM tray for two SIM cards plus a microSD card to expand its up to 128GB of internal storage. It’s powered by a MediaTek Helio G85 chip with 4GB RAM.
Its display is more portable than other tablets at only 8.7 inches with its resolution set at 1340 x 800 and supports 90Hz refresh rate for a smoother scrolling experience. It does have dual speakers to up your entertainment needs.
Inside its chassis is a 6,650mAh battery that supports 18W Fast Charging through its USB-C port. Cameras include an 8MP f/2.0 rear camera and a 5MP f/2.2 front-facing lens. It will run on Android U with Xiaomi HyperOS.
The Redmi Pad SE 8.7 4G starts at PhP 8,999 in the Philippines and comes in Graphite Gray, Aurora Green, and Sky Blue colorways. Its 4GB/64GB variant is positioned at PhP 8,999 while its 4GB/128GB model is priced at PhP 9,499.
