Renders for the Redmi Pro 2 has been posted on Weibo suggesting that the smartphone may jump onto the pop-up camera bandwagon that we’ve seen with the Vivo V15 Pro and OPPO F11 Pro this year.
Since the smartphone has a pop-up camera, its display will be a notch-less screen.It is also indicated that the Redmi Pro 2 might sport a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset.
Previous leaks pointed to the device having a 48MP camera. Based on the renders, however, the smartphone might have a triple-camera setup. Presumably, the other two shooters might be an ultrawide camera and a depth sensor.
The render also reveals that the handset won’t have a traditional rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. It is heavily suggested that the Redmi Pro 2 might have an in-display fingerprint scanner. This decision won’t be a surprise since Xiaomi has previously shown off their new fingerprint scanning technology.
