ROG Ally launches in PH, starts at PhP 39,995

3 months after its official launch globally, the ROG Ally is finally landing in the Philippines. It is the first handheld PC from ASUS aiming to improve the mobile PC gaming experience thanks to its AMD Ryzen Z1 series SoC and suite of features.

ROG Ally

The ROG Ally’s Z1 series chip is based on the Zen 4 CPU architecture paired with AMD RDNA 3 graphics. Unlike the Steam Deck, however, ASUS’ handheld will come with Windows 11 allowing it for a wider range of compatibility in games and launchers.

Its display is a 7-inch FullHD IPS touch panel running at 120Hz with a maximum brightness of 500 nits and AMD FreeSync Premium to eliminate screen tearing. ASUS is using a special edition of their own Armoury Crate as a software solution with quick performance toggles, a built-in game launcher, in-game monitoring, and AURA Sync support.

The Ally can be used as a full PC with accessories. Plugging it through the optional ROG Gaming Charger Dock allows it to be plugged to a TV and charge at the same time allowing for big screen gaming alone or with others. It also has an XG Mobile connector at the top so you can use the XG Mobile external GPU with up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 to boost gaming performance.
