The ASUS ROG Phone 7 series has officially arrived in the Philippines. Two models will be coming locally, the ROG Phone 7 and ROG Phone 7 Ultimate. Both are touted as the ultimate gaming smartphone experience packing the latest chipset, improved cooling, and better speakers.
ROG Phone 7 Series
The ROG Phone 7 and ROG Phone 7 Ultimate now come with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset that promises 15% faster performance while still being 15% more power efficient than last generation. It is paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB UFS 4.0 internal storage.
The two largely come with the same specifications including a 6.78-inch 2448 x 1080 165Hz AMOLED screen with Gorilla Glass Victus, a 6,000mAh battery that supports 65W PD charging and 10W reverse charging, IP54 dust and water resistance, an illuminated RGB logo, and pressure sensitive shoulder buttons.
The Ultimate variant separates itself with a 2-inch OLED rear display that can be customized via its software and the inclusion of an AeroActive Portal for improved cooling and thus longer higher clock speeds on its chipset.

Price and Availability
The ROG Phone 7 series will start at PhP 50,995 in the Philippines. ASUS will be offering three models to choose from:
- ROG Phone 7 12GB/256GB – PhP 50,995
- ROG Phone 7 16GB/512GB – PhP 54,995
- ROG Phone 7 Ultimate 16GB/512GB – PhP 69,995
The vanilla ROG Phone 7 will come with an Aero Case, USB-C to USB-C cable, a SIM ejector pin, and a 65W charging adapter. Meanwhile the Ultimate variant will bundle in the AeroActive Cooler 7 alongside the previous inclusions.
As part of an Early Bird Bundle Promo, the first 100 buyers of the ROG Phone 7 series will take home a Cetra True Wireless Headset worth PhP 4,510 from June 15 – July 15, 2023. You can get either smartphone via authorized retailers nationwide.

ASUS will also be setting up a pop-up booth in SM Megamall B, Upper Ground Floor from June 16 – 18, 2023 to let you try the ROG Phone 7 series. Prizes will be given away and they will be holding a Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Mini Tournament.
