RTX 3060, 3050 Ti, and 3050 seemingly confirmed by Lenovo listing

-

Lenovo has recently posted a listing for their upcoming Legion R5 28IMB05 gaming desktop. The listing, however, reveals that the device might be released with unreleased NVIDIA GeForce RTX cards namely the: RTX 3060, 3050 Ti, and 3050.

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090.

At the time of writing, NVIDIA’s Ampere lineup only includes the RTX 3090, 3080, 3070, and RTX 3060 Ti. Lenovo’s listing puts the three aforementioned cards just below the existing ones in order to bring down the price of Ampere. Pricing is yet to be announced but we can safely assume that these cards will be below the USD 399 price point of the RTX 3060 Ti.

While the listing shows additional Ampere cards, they don’t exactly give us any performance figures. The listing only says the display connections available for each card as well as VRAM capacity. Oddly enough, it seems that the RTX 3060 will ship with 12GB of VRAM which is 4GB larger than the current RTX 3060 Ti.

NVIDIA has not confirmed any of these cards just yet. The brand, however, is expected to make an appearance in CES 2021 on January 12 where these new Ampere cards may be announced.
