Huawei has officially announced that they will be bolstering their notebook lineup with the Huawei MateBook D 15. The latest notebook from the brand will now come with AMD’s Ryzen processors instead of the usual Intel chips that we’ve come to know.
The Huawei Mate Book D 15 is encased in an aluminum shell to give off a more premium feel. The display is a 15.6-inch IPS 1920 x 1080 screen that can produce 250nits of brightness.
Huawei has removed that webcam from the top in order to keep the screen’s bezels to a minimum. The camera has now been integrated to the keyboard between the F6 and F7 keys. Pressing the button will reveal the 1MP webcam of the notebook.
Inside the chassis is an AMD Ryzen 5 3500U processor with 8GB of DDR4 running at 2400MHz as well as 256GB of PCIe NVMe SSD storage along with a 1TB HDD.
The notebook gets its juice from a 42Whr battery and comes with a fingerprint scanner integrated to the power button.
