Lenovo has posted a teaser on their Facebook page confirming that they are going to bring the Ryzen-powered Yoga Slim 7 into the Philippines. Its launch is currently set on May 26, 2020 presumably with other notebooks.
Initially unveiled on CES 2020, the specifications for the Lenovo Yoga Slim 7 isn’t set in stone yet based on their website. Based on what we know, the notebook will come with an AMD Ryzen 7 processor, which we presume would be an AMD Ryzen 7 4800HS. As part of the Yoga series, the notebook will be relatively light at 1.42kg with a 14.9mm profile.
The Yoga Slim 7 will come with a 14.0-inch 1920 x 1080 IPS display capable of producing 300nits of brightness. It seems that the device can also be upgraded to up to 16GB of LPDDR4X RAM although storage options aren’t known yet. Lenovo says that it can last up to 14 hours in a single charge and comes with Rapid Charge Pro.
In terms of connectivity, it will come with WiFi 802.11ax, two USB 3.1 Gen2 Type-A ports, a USB 3.1 Gen2 Type-C port for DisplayPort and Power Delivery, an SD Card Reader, HDMI, and a 3.5mm combo jack.
Price and availability are expected to be announced on its May 26, 2020 launch.
