The Samsung Galaxy A05 and A05s are just the two new entry-level options from Samsung. Both are priced well below the PhP 10,000 mark, making them palatable to those looking for affordable smartphones.
The two devices come with a 6.7-inch PLS display with the A05 capping at 1600 x 720 while the A05s having a higher 2400 x 1080 resolution. They have 50MP f/1.8 main cameras and a 2MP f/2.4 macro though the latter has a 2MP f/2.4 macro to take close up shots. Both are powered with a 5,000mAh battery and can be charged through their USB-C ports that supports 25W Fast Charging.
They differ when it comes to chipsets. The Galaxy A05 is equipped with a Helio G85 chip with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage while the Galaxy A05s has a Snapdragon 680 complemented by 6GB RAM and 128GB storage.

The Samsung Galaxy A05 is priced at PhP 5,690 and PhP 6,690 in the Philippines for the 64GB and 128GB variants, respectively. On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy A05s is priced at PhP 7,990.
