The Samsung Galaxy A06 5G has officially arrived in the Philippines. As their first budget-friendly smartphone of 2025, the Galaxy A06 5G is priced well below the PhP 10,000 mark and comes with long-term support and a more durable chassis.
The Galaxy A06 5G is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset with 5G connectivity along with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of expandable storage. You also get a 6.7-inch 1600 x 720 90Hz PLS display as well as a chassis rated for IP54 dust and water resistance.
It is being powered by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 25W Fast Charging. Cameras include a 50MP f/1.8 main camera with PDAF, a 2MP f/2.4 depth sensor, and an 8MP f/2.0 front-facing shooter.
The device comes with Android 15 with One UI 7.0. Samsung says that it will be supported with four generations of Android OS and One UI upgrades, along with four years of security upgrades, which makes it one of the longer supported entry-level devices in the market.
The Samsung Galaxy A06 5G is priced at PhP 7,990 in the Philippines. Getting it until June 30, 2025 will net you a free Travel Adapter. Additionally, you can take advantage of flexible payments, Home Credit, Trade In Trade Up, and Samsung Finance+.
