Two new Galaxy A series smartphones have arrived in the Philippines – the Samsung Galaxy A15 4G and Galaxy A15 5G. Both share largely the same specifications and even price point aside from their chipsets that affect their connectivity.

Let’s start with their similarities. The Samsung Galaxy A15 4G and A15 5G come with a 6.5-inch 2340 x 1080 90Hz Super AMOLED screen. They have a 50MP f/1.8 main camera, a 5MP f/2.2 ultrawide, and a 2MP f/2.4 macro at the back, and a 13MP f/2.0 front-facing camera.

Both smartphones will have a 5,000mAh battery that supports 25W Fast Charging. They are one of the first smartphones to hit the market with Android 14 with Samsung’s OneUI 6.0.

They difference lie in the chipset. The 4G variant comes with the trusty MediaTek Helio G99 while the 5G model is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ platform. That’s where their difference end as the two also come with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of expandable storage.
