Samsung Galaxy A26 5G arrives in PH, starts at PhP 15,990

The Samsung Galaxy A26 5G is positioned as the brand’s most accessible AI smartphone yet in the Philippines. Aside from updated hardware, its AI capabilities let you access Circle to Search with Google, Object Eraser, Edit Suggestion, and Photo Remaster.

The Galaxy A26 5G’s AI suite enables you to do more with less effort. Circle to Search with Google lets you search and discover content directly from the screen, and can be used to recognize information and URLs with just a single tap.

You can improve photos with Object Eraser and Edit Suggestion. Object Eraser removes unwanted objects in the frame while Edit Suggestion analyzes your photos and videos and suggests enhancements. Both old and new photos can be improved thanks to its Photo Remaster feature.

On the hardware side, the Galaxy A26 5G comes with an Exynos 1380 chip with up to 8GB RAM and up to 256GB of storage. It runs on a 5,000mAh battery with 25W Fast Charging, and promises up to 17 hours of usage.

Cameras include a 50MP f/1.8 OIS main shooter, an 8MP f/2.2 ultrawide, a 2MP f/2.4 macro, and a 13MP f/2.2 front-facing camera.

The chassis is rated for IP67 dust and water resistance for improved weather resistance. It will run on Android 15 with One UI 7.0, and Samsung is promising 6 generations of OS upgrades and 6 years of security updates much like the Galaxy A36 5G and Galaxy A56 5G.

The Samsung Galaxy A26 5G starts at PhP 15,990. It will come in 6GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB models priced at PhP 15,990 and PhP 17,990, respectively. Colorways include Awesome Black, Awesome Mint, and Awesome Peach Pink (online exclusive).
