The Samsung Galaxy A35 5G has made its debut alongside the Galaxy A55 5G. It is placed below its bigger brother and offers a more budget-oriented A series experience for the people, but Samsung hasn’t skimped on its specifications and design.
The Galaxy A35 5G shares the same design as the Galaxy A55 5G, presumably to simplify the look of its midrange lineup. There is a slight difference, however, as the A35 5G uses a plastic frame instead of a steel one like the A55 5G.
It will be using last year’s Exynos 1380 chip from the Galaxy A54 5G with 8GB RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. Like its bigger brother, the A35 5G has a 6.6-inch 2340 x 1080 Super AMOLED screen that can run up to 120Hz with a punch hole for its lower pixel count 13MP f/2.2 front-facing camera.
At the back are also three cameras. You can use a 50MP f/1.8 main camera with OIS, a 5MP f/2.4 macro camera, and an 8MP f/2.2 ultrawide lens. The device will be powered by a 5,000mAh battery, which is typical for most smartphones nowadays.
The smartphone will be running on One UI 6.1 based on Android 14. Samsung says that they will be supporting up to 4 generations of Android OS and One UI upgrades, and 5 years of security upgrades to keep the device running for longer.
The Samsung Galaxy A35 5G is priced at PhP 20,990 in the Philippines. Getting it from March 18 to April 18, 2024 will net you a free Buds FE and a Travel Adapter worth PhP 6,680 combined. You can get it via all authorized Samsung retailer stores, their online website, experience stores, and operator partners nationwide.
