Samsung has already released two new smartphones in the A-series this year with the A30 and the A50. The Samsung Galaxy A70 is the latest addition to the range. Unlike its contemporaries, the A70 comes with a massive 6.7-inch SuperAMOLED display and a 32MP front-facing camera.

The Samsung Galaxy A70 is undoubtedly one of the bigger smartphones in the A-series. With a 6.7-inch SuperAMOLED display, it is also the first smartphone in the series to have a 20:9 aspect ratio with a resolution of 2400 x 1080. Its InfinityU display also hides a 32MP front-facing camera in its notch.

Like the Samsung Galaxy A50, the Galaxy A70 removes the rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. Instead, the smartphone now has an in-display fingerprint scanner.

As far as cameras go, the device deploys a triple camera setup composed of a 32MP f/1.7 main camera, an 8MP f/2.2 ultrawide, and a 5MP f/2.2 depth sensor. Samsung has thrown in a Scene Optimizer with the A70’s cameras that can recognize and enhance up to 20 different scenes.

Inside the smartphone is an octa-core chip with two cores running at 2.0GHz and six cores clocked at 1.7GHz. Depending on the region or variant, the A70 will have either 6GB of 8GB of RAM.

To carry you throughout the day, the A70 is powered by a 4,500mAh battery. The device also supports 25W Fast Charging so you don’t need to wait long to fill up the battery.
