Samsung is introducing two new budget-friendly smartphones in the Philippines: the Galaxy M12 and Galaxy M02. Both come with 6.5-inch HD+ screens, Android 11 with OneUI Core 3.1, and price points that are easy to swallow.

Samsung Galaxy M12

The Samsung Galaxy M12 comes with an Exynos 850 with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. It also ships with a quad camera setup at the back with a 48MP f/2.0 main lens, a 5MP f/2.2 ultrawide, and two 2MP f/2.4 shooters while the front houses an 8MP f/2.2 selfie camera. A 5,000mAh battery powers the device that can be charged through its USB Type-C port with its 15W wall charger.

Samsung Galaxy M02

The more budget-oriented of the two, the Samsung Galaxy M02 has a MediaTek MT6739 with 2GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage. Two shooters are on the back – a 12MP f/1.9 main lens and a 2MP f/2.4 macro – while the front has a 5MP f/2.0 selfie shooter.

Pricing and Availability

Both smartphones are now available in the Philippines at PhP 7,490 for the M12 and PhP 4,499 for the M02. They can be purchased via the official online Samsung store and Lazada as well as partner shops such as MemoXpress Online, Abenson, Gizmo Central, and Galleon.

Those who will get the Galaxy M02 today will also get PhP 500 off the list price through Lazada, MX MemoXpress Online, Abenson, Gizmo Central, and Galleon.
