The Samsung Galaxy F62 will now be coming to the rest of the world as the Galaxy M62. The 7,000mAh battery beast is expected to launch as early as March 3 in Malaysia, and presumably more countries soon after.
The name change does not affect the Galaxy M62’s specifications. Aside from the aforementioned 7,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging, the device will come with an Exynos 9825 chip with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. At the front is a 6.7-inch FullHD+ AMOLED display and a 32MP selfie camera.
At the back is a quad camera setup arranged in a square arrangement composed of a 64MP main lens, a 12MP ultrawide shooter, and two 5MP cameras for bokeh and macro photography.
The only real difference between the M62 and F62, is that the latter will only be receiving two color variants – Laser Gray and Laser Blue – sacking the green version. Malaysia will be initially receiving the Galaxy M62 on March 3. No word yet if it will arrive in the Philippines.
