Both the Samsung Galaxy S23 and S23+ have made their debut together with the Galaxy S23 Ultra. The two are slightly cutdown versions of the Ultra but still pack quite beefy hardware under the hood including a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, 50MP f/1.8 main lenses at the back, and 120Hz Dynamic AMOLED 2X screens with Gorilla Glass Victus 2.
The S23 and 23+ are largely comparable with each other. The S23+ has a larger 6.6-inch screen instead of 6.1-inch for the vanilla S23 and a larger 4,700mAh battery with 45W charging compared to the 3,900mAh bank on the S23 that only supports 25W fast charging.
Samsung is partnering with Qualcomm for their Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. The company says that its NPU architecture has been optimized by 49% to balance performance and power. The chip also allows better photo and video capabilities. The GPU of their SoC can also deliver up to 41% better performance when compared to last year’s S22 series.

Price and Availability
The Samsung Galaxy S23 is priced starting at PhP 53,990 in the Philippines while the Galaxy S23+ starts its asking tag at PhP 68,990. Two storage variants are available for both smartphones. Pricing are as follows:

The two smartphones will be available for pre-order starting today until February 23, 2023. Early birds can enjoy a memory upgrade for the 8GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB models that moves them up to the next storage tier for the S23 and S23+ for free, respectively.
If that’s not enough, Samsung is also throwing in 50% and 30% discounts on the Galaxy Buds2 Pro and Galaxy Watch5 series, respectively, as well as a free 1-year Samsung Galaxy Care+, and double the Samsung Rewards points.
Trading in an old smartphone when buying any of the Galaxy S23 series can reduce their price by up to PhP 13,000. The company is also accepting 24 months 0% interest on all major credit cards and up to 36% months 0% via Citi.
