The rumors have been confirmed as Samsung has officially set the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S23 series on February 1, 2023 according to its Colombian market website. The Galaxy Unpacked 2023 event teases the event with the tagline “Epic moments are coming.”
It seems that the confirmation was an accident since the page has been taken down the website. Based on the promotional teaser, Samsung is redesign of the rear of the Galaxy S23 series. It is expected that the range will still come in three models: Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23 Plus, and Galaxy S23 Ultra.
According to reports, the S23 family will come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and UFS 4.0 storage. Charging may still be 45W across the models just like the Galaxy S22 series launched last year.
The launch will presumably be streamed at the official Samsung website and YouTube channel. More information about Samsung’s flagship series should be available once they launch on February 1. Rumors say that they will hit retail shelves as early as the second week of February.
