It seems that Filipinos are embracing the Galaxy S24 series as the brand sees record pre-orders, with every unit sold every 20 seconds in the Philippines during the first day of its pre-order.
The Samsung Galaxy S24 series are focusing more on AI to amplify the mobile experience. Currently, they are focusing breaking down language barriers with Live Translate that offers two-way real-time voice and text translation of phone calls. Interpreter allows live conversations to be translated on a split-screen view without being connected to the Internet. On the other hand, Chat Assist can help with conversational tones for other languages via messaging.
Organization will also get AI capabilities with Note Assist in Samsung Notes, which can generate summaries and create templates to streamline notes with pre-made formats. Transcript Assist employs AI and speech-to-text to automatically transcribe, summarize, and even translate voice recordings.
Aside from AI, there are some generational hardware improvements to be expected. The Galaxy S24 Ultra will have a Quad Tele system with a 5x optical zoom for its 50MP f/3.4 telephoto.
Samsung Electronics Philippines President Min Su Chu highlighted that with AI amplifying nearly every experience on the latest Galaxy devices, Filipinos now have a new standard on how Galaxy users experience the world around them. “We are very happy to see Filipinos welcoming this next phase of mobile innovation, allowing Samsung to empower their everyday lives with Galaxy AI. You can still pre-order the Samsung Galaxy S24 series until February 6, 2024, which will net you a storage upgrade for free. You can get up to 50% off when you trade-in your old Galaxy S23 series smartphone or up to PhP 16,000 for other Samsung Galaxy devices.
Aside from discounts and upgrades, Samsung is also offering up to 30% off on Galaxy Buds FE, Watch5 Pro, Watch6 Series, or an extra 50% off on the Galaxy Buds2 Pro and Buds2. Samsung is also bundling a 60% off discount on a year of Samsung Care+ plan for pre-ordering any of the Galaxy S24 series device.
