After much rumors and leaks, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge has finally made its official debut. While it is thin and comes with plenty of hardware under the hood, Samsung sacrifices much in the way of battery life.

At 5.8mm, the Galaxy S25 Edge is one of the thinnest entries in Samsung’s range yet. It’s also light weighing in at 163g, but it’s a gram heavier than the base Galaxy S25 at 162g. Its race to become the thinnest, however, does come with drawbacks as it only comes with a 3,900mAh battery with the standard support for 25W Fast Charging and wireless charging.
Though it has a smaller battery, its hardware is far from being little. It comes powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy chip with 12GB RAM and up to 512GB storage, and runs on Android 15 with One UI 7 on top.
The smartphone is also equipped with an IP68-rated chassis and a 6.7-inch QHD+ 1 – 120Hz Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2. Cameras include a 200MP f/1.7 OIS main shooter, a 12MP f/2.2 ultrawide, and a 12MP f/2.2 front-facing lens.
The Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge starts at USD 1,099 in the US. It is positioned at around PhP 62,000 when directly converted. There’s no word yet if the device will be coming to the Philippines.
