Samsung has launched both the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra and S10+ tablets alongside the arrival of the Galaxy S24 FE. This generation, Samsung has improved the tablets’ performance with new hardware from MediaTek plus new AI integration from last year.

Thanks to the MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ chip, the expect improved performance on both the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra and Galaxy Tab S10+. The two support 45W Fast Charging and run on large batteries at 11,200mAh for the Ultra and 10,090mAh on the S10+.

Their displays differ only on size and resolution as the Ultra sports a 14.6-inch 2960 x 1848 display while the S10+ has a 12.4-inch 2800 x 1752 screen. Both their screen sport a Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel and runs at 120Hz.

The chassis of the tablets are reinforced to be rated IP68 for dust and water resistance as well as what Samsung calls Armor Aluminum to handle bumps and scrapes from regular use.

The big push on both these tablets is Galaxy AI. Thanks to both local and cloud processing, the two can handle AI workloads much faster than before. It can integrate to other AI-powered Samsung devices with a 3D Map View, that allows you to have a visual overview of the home and all connected devices.

Other features include:

• Note Assist – Made more efficient with automated transcriptions and summaries provided by AI It can also translate PDFs via an on-screen overlay and Handwriting Help can clean up untidy handwritten notes.
• Sketch to Image – Let AI generate images from just a quick sketch from the tablet.
• Circle to Search – You can now encircle elements and search without switching apps. This can be handy when translating images or text or recognizing physics and math problems.
• S Pen Air Command with AI – This enables instant access to the Galaxy AI Assistant without toggling between menus.
• Samsung Dex Mode – Dex mode is improved with by the in-box Book Cover Keyboard that lets you switch from a tablet to a PC-like interface.
