Launched alongside the Samsung Galaxy S20+ and Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip aims to bring back the days of the flip phones. With a 6.7-inch Foldable Display and all the bells and whistles of a modern flagship, the Galaxy Z Flip conjures ideas of a classic design with a touch of 21st century improvements.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip comes with a 6.7-inch 21.9:9 Dynamic AMOLED 2636 x 1080 display that folds into a smaller form factor. The hideaway hinge of the Galaxy Flip Z allows you to position the display to any angle you want for an easy-to-use experience.
A custom-built UX for the Galaxy Z Flip allows it to automatically divide its screen into two 4.0-inch screens. These dual displays will allow you to easily multitask, view images, or watch videos all at the same time.
Once folded, the Galaxy Z Flip will easily fit on the palm of your hand or in your pocket. The hinge will also allow a smooth opening action that will stay on any angle that you want. Samsung has also learned from the past and added a new sweeper technology, which uses nylon fibers to repel dirt and dust from the mechanism.
In addition to the already expansive display choices that the main screen offers, the smartphone also comes with a secondary 1.1-inch Super AMOLED screen with Corning Gorilla Glass 6 on the chassis. This always-on display helps to indicate any incoming notifications to the smartphone.
In terms of camera hardware, the device doesn’t skimp on the essentials. Rear cameras on the smartphone are composed of a 12MP f/1.8 Main and a 12MP f/2.2 Ultrawide. Selfies are taken with a 10MP f/2.4 front-facing shooter.
The smartphone is powered by a 3,300mAh battery that’s charged via a USB Type-C connection. The device is compatible with 15W Fast Charging as well as 9W Fast Wireless Charging.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip is expected to make its way to the Philippines on February 21, 2020. The brand says that the smartphone will be priced at PhP 79,990 or USD 1,380 and will come in Mirror Black or Mirror Purple.
