It seems that Smart is letting go of some their older flagship stocks as they are slashing as much as up to PhP 40,000 on a 1 terabyte model of last year’s Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 on their official Lazada store.
Originally priced at PhP 119,990, the 1TB variant of the Galaxy Z Fold 5 now only goes for PhP 79,849. Smart is also discounting the 256GB model of the foldable to only PhP 71,849 from PhP 98,990.
Both will come with a free Smart Prepaid eSIM and Galaxy Buds 2 Pro. The former is also bundled with a Galaxy Watch6 44mm while the latter comes with a Galaxy Watch 4 40mm.
The Galaxy Z Fold 5 is just a generation behind the Fold 6, and still comes with beefy hardware including the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip. It has a 7.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2x main screen and a 6.2-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X cover display. You get a 50MP f/1.8 Dual Pixel AF main camera, a 12MP f/2.2 ultrawide, a 10MP f/2.4 3x OIS Telephoto, a 10MP f/2.2 cover display camera, and a 4MP f/1.8 main screen shooter.
Its 6.1mm chassis hides a 4,400mAh battery with 25W charging, Fast Wireless Charging 2.0, and Wireless PowerShare. It will run on Android 13 with One UI 5.1.1 with Samsung promising up to 4 OS upgradea and 5 years of security patches.
