Samsung launched their two giant smartphones today, and you know, this is what we are expecting. But at the end of the show, Samsung surprisingly teased the Gear S2 smartwatch, it is scheduled to be announced officially on September 3 at IFA in Berlin.
No information was given about the watch, they only showed us what it looks like – and it certainly looks awesome! The design and look is minimal but attractive, definitely something that you would want to wear. The watch has a distinctive round body, but it is obviously taking some features out of the Apple Watch. The circular icons on the app launcher interface looks like they were directly copied from the Apple Watch.
But that’s about it, Samsung has to prove that smartwatches can actually be enticing, not looking like an old calculator in your wrist.
