Samsung is launching their Odyssey G7 and G9 gaming monitors in the Philippines. Both models will come with a 1000R curvature, ultrafast refresh rates, and low response times to keep up with the fast-paced games of today.
The Samsung Odyssey G7 will come in 32 and 27-inch variants but both will share the same specifications despite the size difference. The two monitors will have a resolution of 2560 x 1440 with a 1000R curvature and a 16:9 screen ratio.
The Odyssey G7 series runs at 240Hz with a 1ms GTG response time and still support HDR 600 to ensure lightning fast gaming without sacrificing color accuracy. They are using Samsung’s QLED displays with their Core Lighting design.

Basically the flagship of the current crop of Samsung gaming displays, the Samsung Odyssey G9 is a massive 49-inch monitor with a 1000R curvature and a screen ratio of 32:9. Instead of having a 3840 x 1080 resolution, however, the Odyssey G9 goes a step above and has a resolution of 5120 x 1440.
The display is still able to run at 240Hz with a 1ms GTG response time. It will also support both G-SYNC and FreeSync 2 to eliminate any tearing while gaming.
