Samsung outs Neo QLED and Micro LED TV lineup for 2021

Samsung is stepping their game up early this 2021 in the TV department by introducing their latest Neo QLED and Micro LED TV. Displays that are part of these lineup promises to deliver better viewing experience and provide better design than their contemporaries.

Samsung Neo QLED TVs

Samsung is introducing their new display technology, Neo QLED, with two new flagship models: the 8K QN900A and the 4K QN90A TVs. This new technology by a new light source they call Quantum Mini LED which has been designed to be 1/40 the height of a conventional LED. Paired with Samsung’s Quantum Matrix Technology, their smaller LEDs can now enable more precise application of local dimming which leads to higher contrast.

In addition to better contrast and local dimming capabilities, Neo QLED TVs pack a Neo Quantum Processor. They can now take advantage of up to 16 different neural network models, each trained in AI upscaling and deep learning to optimize quality to 4K and 8K regardless of the source.

Better picture quality isn’t the only thing Samsung is improving on their new flagships. They are now sporting the brand’s Infinity One Design, which aims to provide a near bezel-less experience in a sleek form. Samsung is also including more extras such as Samsung Health, Super Ultrawide GameView, Google Duo, and PC on TV.

Large MicroLED TVs

Samsung will also be introducing their new range of MicroLED TVs this 2021. Available in 110 and 99-inch variants – with smaller sizes expected to arrive later this year – These display use miniature MicroLEDs to eliminate backlight and color filters found in conventional displays. The brand claims these TVs can have 24 million individually controlled LEDs to simulate lifelike colors and brightness.

A Monolith Design backs Samsung’s MicroLED TVs that allow them to have over 99% screen-to-body ratio. Smart TV features will also be implemented like its 4Vue (Quad View) to allow four different sources to stream content over one display to take advantage of the massive size of the TV. You can even connect four consoles or PCs and have a playoff all in one display.

Samsung The Frame 2021 Version

In addition to their new TVs, The Frame will be receiving a 2021 refresh that sports a thinner build and new detachable bezels in five color options and two different customizable styles. It also comes with a subscription to its all-new Art Store so you can enjoy more than 1,4000 curated pieces.
