Scorn Act 4 Walkthrough & Puzzle Guide

In Scorn, players get to encounter a couple of puzzles during Act 4 of the game. As the game is pretty vague and obscure about details, players are left in despair to solve these puzzles. But fret not! It’s not over yet. Get to solve the puzzles in Act 4 of Scorn using this walkthrough, and also get to know how to clear Act 4 of the game.

Note that the game has multiple paths that lead to the same outcome/result. This guide may only be one of the methods used to achieve the same goal.

Scorn Act 4 Walkthrough

Less Combat Than Act 3

Although there are enemies present in Act 4, it’s not as annoying as Act 3. Monsters here can be ignored and you only have to kill a couple to proceed. Act 4 is also a tad shorter than Act 3. Again, don’t forget to heal up!

Get The Shotgun

The third weapon in the game, the Shotgun delivers pain from close range. It is pretty straightforward as you only have to point it at your target and shoot. The shotgun can bring down the tough bull-like monsters and can make short work of the monster dogs. Unfortunately, ammo for this weapon is incredibly scarce so use them only on tough enemies.

Don’t Shoot The Large Monster

The large creature featured in Act 4 is mostly invulnerable to the player’s attacks. Don’t shoot at it as you’ll only be wasting ammo.

Act 4 Walkthrough

1. After leaving the elevator, turn left and continue moving forward. When you reach a fork, use the stairs to your right to go up.
2. After going up the stairs, turn left and use the terminal. Go to the newly opened path and use the controls to raise the screen. This is the first part of the Maze Puzzle.
3. Exit using the new pathway to your right. Push forward and ignore the enemies. Go up the stairs to find yourself in a two-level hallway with different paths.
4. Walk to the upper left path first and head straight. There’s a way to the left but ignore it for now as it’s just a locked door. Go straight until you get to another terminal. Use it to open another path into the large monster. For now, head back to the two-level hallway.
5. Take the central path and use the staircase to go down. Located in the center of the room is a rack that contains a maze screen, the one that you raised up. You need two more screens to solve this puzzle so leave it for now.
6. Head towards the hallway behind the rack and into a small room. Get the shotgun from the rack. Use the ammo dispenser behind you to reload.
7. Exit the room and turn left. Defeat the bull monster using the shotgun.
8. Push forward and use the elevator to go up. Sprint to the right and try to ignore the monsters blocking your path. Head straight into the hallway to your left. Once you enter the room, turn right and go up. At the end of the bridge is a terminal to upgrade your organic key card.
9. Head back from where you came from and use the elevator. You can sprint towards the elevator controls to stop enemy aggro.
10. After getting back down. Head straight and unlock the door to the right of the shotgun room. Use the lift to get to the upper level. This opens the door directly in front of you, leading to the main hallway. You can use it to leave later. For now, turn around and use the path behind you.
11. Head straight. You’ll notice an opening with a closed pathway to your left. You’ll get back to it later. Continue moving forward until you see another elevator. Use it to go up. Push forward and notice the terminal to your right. This opens the path to the third and final piece of the maze puzzle.
12. Go back to the opening in #11 and raise another maze puzzle piece. Afterwards, head back to the two-level hall.
13. Take the lower left path. You now have the key card to open the gate so use it and advance. Round the corner is the pathway leading to the opening that you activated in #4. Head inside and raise the final maze puzzle piece.
14. Head back to the two-level hallway. Use the central path and interact with the Maze Puzzle. Solve it to raise the elevator.
15. Exit the elevator using the stairway to your left. Follow the path until you reach the monorail. Ride it and use the controls for a lengthy but enjoyable trip. Don’t forget to take in the sights!
16. Disembark and pat yourself on the back. Welcome to the last and final part of the game, Act V!

Scorn Act 4 Puzzle

Maze Puzzle

The sole puzzle in Act 4 is the Maze Puzzle. To advance, you must get three pieces of this puzzle which can only be had by cutting open the large monster using contraptions found around the map. Follow the walkthrough above to get the three maze puzzles and solve it to reach Act V.
