Despite being more famous for their TVs rather than their smartphones, Sharp has announced a new bezelless, all-metal Aquos S2.
Sharps all-new Aquos S2 has a 5.5-inch 2040 x 1080 display housed in an all-metal body measuring 3.6mm thick. Inside is a Qualcomm Snapdragon complemented by up to 4GB/6GB RAM, while there’s also a higher-end SKU equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Imaging capability is handled by dual 12MP + 8MP f/1.8 sensors setup vertically much like some of the leaks of the upcoming iPhone 8. Here are the full specs of the Sharp Aquos S2:

The Sharp Aquos S2 was announced with prices starting CNY 2488 (PhP 18,000) for the Snapdragon 430 variant. On the other hand, the Snapdragon 660 version will retail at CNY 3499 (PhP 26,400) on August 14. No local release has been dated yet for Sharp’s newest smartphone.
